Sargentville Library photos over the years
The Sargentville Sewing Circle and Library Association was formed in 1875 and hand-sewn items were sold to raise money for the books that were kept in private homes. In 1905, with money raised locally and by Lida Harkness, and land purchased from Hiram B. Harding for $50, the Library building became a reality.
